SGBAU e- Resources:

Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Library Consortia for UG and PG Colleges Introduction Online resources play pivotal role in study and research in higher education in the advanced atmosphere of Information and Communication Technology. Students, teachers, research scholars and other users are more interested to access the required information from such resources rather from print ones. However, due to high subscription rates of these resources, technical as well as other institutions cannot afford to subscribe its fully loaded packages and therefore unable to make it available in the Knowledge Resource Center for its stake-holders. Due to this genuine problem the students, research scholars and teachers are deprived from accessing the required information from these on line resources for their study and research purpose. This e-Content can be maintained at one place and made accessible to every member with login password/IP based facility in the Knowledge Resource Center (Library) of respective institutions. Above mentioned two problems i.e. subscription of e-resources and preparing e-content, can be solved if colleges/institutes come together with sharing the available resources. Of course, for that developing the Consortia may be a perfect solution. The Knowledge Resource Centre of the University has taken initiative and developed the consortia titled Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Library Consortia for UG and PG.
